This is a new Gibson 2014 Custom Shop Billy Gibbons Goldtop Aged.  It is a chambered piece made of a single piece of mahogany at 8 lbs 4 ounces with 2 volume switches controlling 2 Pearly Gates pickups by Seymour Duncan, and one volume control eliminating the need for a switch selector.  The model is an aged R7 1957 Les Paul RI.  Has a 50's round neck profile.  Mahogany body, maple cap, mahogany neck, with rosewood fretboard bound to the body with hot hide glue.  100 aged were made, with 50 more aged and signed.  Rick Harris, a customizing expert was hired with a team to do the striping and the aging copying Gibbons' guitar which he did himself.  Comes in OHSC original carton, all tags, and COA.  The carton is tag matched to the piece which is numbered in the 90's.  Gibbons loves light strings, and as interviewed, said, "Why work so hard."   This guitar is strung with 8's, special strings the box contained within the case.  *478-61RT.  The list on this is $12,939 and the Retail MAP is $9165.00.
